Who am I?

I help Practitioners to remove the overwhelm and mystery of Herbal remedies, and understand how and when to use market formulas in a safe and effective way and Bridge the Gap between Nutrition and Herbs to address the client’s root cause.

My Philosophy

I believe our clients seek help because they’re truly ready to embrace a more natural approach to their health. In doing so, as their Practitioner, it is our duty to be able to have a holistic overview of their case, by observing what their body is expressing, asking specific questions and producing their Plan to include both Nutritional and Herbal advice

My Methods

When I started my Practice in 2002, I was charging for a Naturopathic consultation, Nutritional analysis, Iridology session, Herbal consultation, a ‘Follow- Up’- all with different times and different prices. And then I realised PEOPLE DON’T CARE – they just want to get better!
I realised that Clients want clear direction and someone to guide them through the overwhelm of the Natural Health field.
They had just been through the allopathic approach of seeing a Specialist for every symptom, and here was I charging one price and time slot for a Naturopathic Consultation, another price and time for a ‘Follow-up’, another price and time for Iridology, for Herbal Consultations etc

“Clients don’t know, nor do they care, about which service to choose- they just want their hand to be held and guided through the huge complex subject of Natural Health”.

So I titled my consultation ‘A Personalised Screening’ and combined all my knowledge and bridged the gap in my business.
I drew upon my knowledge of Nutrition, Herbs, Iridology, Tongue analysis, Bach flower essences and essential oils to give my clients the best experience.

This was a Game-Changer!

I created a way to educate them along their way, so they became excited to note the changes in their body, to enthuse about me and tell their friends and family about my Clinic.
I never looked back! Business went from strength to strength – I stopped advertising, stopped the countless hours of networking events, stopped leaflet-dropping and relied on word of mouth.

I read the ‘body whispers’. I define the root cause. I bridge the gap in knowledge. I harmonise the body. I CHANGE lives.

My Goals

I know you have a dream to have a truly holistic and integrative busy Practice, so you can help your clients and improve lives and I want to show you how to make that happen.

I help practitioners to remove the overwhelm and mystery of herbal remedies, and understand how and when to use market formulas in a safe and effective way and Bridge the Gap between Nutrition and Herbs to address the client’s root cause. Yours Clients will love this approach and will keep recommending you!

I am a Herbanist – a blend of Herbalist and Nutritionist!

I started lecturing for the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2014, and by sitting and listening to countless consultations I realised that there is a huge gap in knowledge of how to really use herbs. I would hear “This client has exhaustion and anxiety, so I’m going to suggest Ashwagandha”, or “I’d like to put them on Milkthistle”.

Things we should be considering about the client before making herbal suggestions are:

Are they a hot or cold person? Are they expressing on their skin? What colour is their tongue coating? What colour are their eyes? Would you suggest that as capsules, loose powder, tincture, tea or glycerite?

Each client is completely individual and herbs react differently in certain people and in the way that the herb is prepared.

I decided to create Bridging the Gap between Nutrition and Herbs so Practitioners could truly understand how and when to use market formulas such as A. Vogel, Indigo Herbs, Nutri Advanced, Biocare, New Roots Herbal and Viridian in a safe and effective way.
I read the body whispers’. I define the root cause. I bridge the gap in knowledge. I harmonise the body. I CHANGE lives.

Biography

Gabi Forrester is a Naturopath, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Iridolgist and Herbalist and has been in Practice for 18 years, seeing clients in person, delivering online courses and lecturing for the CNM.

The wake-up call came after qualifying from years of studying – this was now no longer a passion project, but a business!

There have been trials and tribulations, tears, frustration and threatening to give up at least once a quarter with the constant question, “why wasn’t I taught how to run a Clinic?”

Gabi has branched out into helping fellow Practitioners with a podcast being released later this year called ‘Bridging the Gap in your Health Practice’ – a podcast for Nutritionists, Herbalists, Naturopaths, Hands-on therapists and Functional Medicine Practitioners who want to fulfil their desire to help clients whilst effectively running their clinic. It is a weekly dose of deep meaningful conversations, inspiration and practical training so you can create a balance between your clinic, your clients, your time, your income and your sanity.

Whether you run a multi-disciplinary practice or it’s just you, each episode aims to bring together consultation tips, clinic growing strategies, communication skills and also bridges the gap between nutritional and herbal advice.
